Tuesday, August 31, 2010 - Candlelight Vigil Honoring Chandler Officer Carlos Ledesma
Arizona Concerns of Police Survivors will be hosting a Candlelight Vigil to honor and remember Officer Ledesma. Donations received at the event and from t-shirt sales will go directly to the Ledesma family. The vigil will take place at the Chandler Public Safety Memorial Plaza at 221 E Boston, Chandler, AZ at 7:00 pm. T-shirt and donation table will be open at 6:00 pm. Dodgeball tournament benefiting Samantha Newton, 17 year-old daughter of retired MSCO Sergeant Darrel Newton.
Check-in: 9:00 - 9:30 am, Intro & Presentation 9:30 -10:00 am, Tournament 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Family Life Center located at 5757 N Central Avenue, Phoenix AZ

Saturday, October 30, 2010 - 4th Annual Anthony Holly Memorial Ride
This motorcycle ride will benefit the Anthony Holly Foundation. Free coffee beginning at 7 am at the 5 & Diner at 7541 W Bell Road and registration from 7 to 9 am, mass at 9 am and in by 1:30 pm at the American Legion. $25 per rider and $15 per passenger. Light the Night walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s evening walk and fundraising event. Join the Bell family and help raise money in memory of Phoenix Police Officer Paul Kowalczyk who passed from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2008. To join their team or make a donation, please click here.
