Course Description:
Spouses and First Responders and both subject to feeling lonely or disconnected often due to opposite schedules and shift work, struggles with connecting, and the impact from stress. This year has left many first responders and their families feeling isolated due to public controversy that many times also plays out between friends and extended family members. In this webinar, we will share common issues that many spouses experience, developmental stages that many spouses go through, and ways to cope.

Learning Objectives:
Identify ways and situations that first responders, spouses, and family members experience disconnection and loneliness.
Describe the development stages that spouses may develop as a part of their coping strategy and the impact on the relationship.
Identify coping strategies and techniques to respond to loneliness and create connection.
