SHIFT CHANGE: A JOURNEY TOWARDS MENTAL STRENGTH
An authentic look at a firefighter/paramedic’s successful 20 year career which culminated in a state of depression, anger and alcohol abuse and was followed by an introduction to the practice of meditation and mindfulness. A broad summary of the neuroscience behind awareness and how integrating a mindfulness practice into our work and home life is imperative for the safety, well-being and happiness of our first responders.
