About the 911 Tower Challenge
There were 110 floors and 2,071 steps in the Twin Towers. On September 8th in Phoenix and Flagstaff and September 11th in Tucson, hundreds of people in stadiums across Arizona will remember the bravery of those who lost their lives on 9/11 by taking the journey of 2,071 steps by completing the 911 Tower Challenge. Join us at U of A, Gila River Arena, or NAU to participate in this incredible event! NEVER FORGET! All active and retired first responders and military and/or their spouses/family over 18 are welcome to participate. You may also participate if you are sponsored by a first responder or military member.
*ATTENTION ALL PHOENIX CLIMBERS*
1. All public safety personnel AND civilian public safety supporters are invited to participate in the 911 Tower Challenge at Gila River Arena!
2. Do you have physical limitations that prevent you from climbing the stairs in the Challenge? Would you and your stroller-riding child like to participate?
Individuals unable to climb the stairs now have the option to opt for a less strenuous concourse walk!
